What we do
Four things, in every program.
FITS programs are turnkey by design. A school's PE teacher leads the room; we provide everything else. In every FITS program, the same four pieces are non-negotiable.
Safe, school-ready equipment.
A full set of school-safe “Instant Fencing” masks, jackets, and foils for a class of 30 — designed for school environments, not competitive clubs. Shipped to your gym, returned after the unit.
A complete curriculum.
Eight lessons across six weeks, designed by Olympians and professional teachers. Footwork, bladework, and tactics — with life-skills tie-ins built in.
Teacher training that works.
Hands-on professional development from FITS plus a full video library. No prior fencing experience required — PE teachers across the country have been trained through this model.
An Olympic athlete in the room.
Every school program kicks off with a "Go for the Gold" assembly from Tim Morehouse or a FITS Olympic athlete ambassador. Often the highest-engagement moment of the school year.

FITS is committed to access. We partner with schools to create fundraising campaigns through their local networks and the national fencing community, and we work with every school’s budget. No school that wants FITS should be turned away for financial reasons.
